Thomas Hoogwerkers collects and processes the following personal data:

• Newsletter subscribers: identification data for sending newsletters
• Website users: electronic identification data to optimise user experience, compile statistics and display targeted ads

Legal ground(s) for processing

Personal data are processed on the basis of Article 6.1 (a) consent, (b) necessary for the performance of a contract, (f) necessary for the fulfilment of our legitimate interest to enable party operation, of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Insofar as the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6.1. a) (consent), the user always has the right to withdraw the consent given.

Transfer to third parties

Where necessary to fulfil the purposes set out, members’ personal data will be shared with internal party bodies, including local chapters, of Thomas Hoogwerkers within the European Economic Area that are directly or indirectly related to Thomas Hoogwerkers. For party operation, we use third parties who receive our data, such as, for example, for printing member cards or sending newsletters or invitations.

Thomas Hoogwerkers undertakes, to the best of its ability, that these recipients will take the necessary technical and all reasonable organisational measures to protect personal data through a variety of regulations.

Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of personal data

The user has the right to access his personal data at any time and may correct them (or have them corrected) if they are inaccurate or incomplete, have them deleted, have their processing restricted and object to the processing of personal data concerning him on the basis of Article 6.1 (f), including Thomas Hoogwerkers filings on the basis of those provisions.

In addition, the user has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, common and machine-readable form) of their personal data and to have the personal data transferred to another entity.
